KNOW. INTERPRET. BEHOLD.

Our Mission

Kingdom Co exists to help believers know, interpret, and behold the living Word.

Meet our Founder,

Carre Phillips

I’ve owned a Bible for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve come to love reading and knowing Scripture, but my story didn’t begin that way.

Growing up in a Christian home, my parents introduced me to Jesus at an early age. Still, as a little girl, faith often felt more like a list of things I was supposed to get right than a relationship with a God who intimately knew and loved me. I remember sitting in church, flipping through the pages of my sparkling silver Bible while our pastor preached. The words on those pages were already making little imprints on my heart, even if I couldn’t see it yet.

My relationship with Jesus changed dramatically in college when I fully surrendered my life to him. I began opening my Bible with a fresh hunger, searching its pages for answers and trying to make sense of the pieces of my broken life. Somewhere amidst this journey of getting to know the real gospel message, something even greater happened. I began to realize that I wasn’t simply learning about the Bible. I was getting to know the God who has written the whole story.

For the first time, I wanted to understand Scripture—not because I was supposed to have a quiet time, but because the more I understood the words unfolding across its pages, the more deeply I came to know and love Jesus.

Even in the years of pursuing Jesus and serving in ministry that followed, I would never have called myself a perfectly consistent Bible reader. I’ve certainly never mastered the perfect morning quiet-time routine. Yet through all my imperfect and inconsistent time with the Lord, one thing has remained true: the more I meet him in his living Word, the more I know him. And the more I know him, the more I am transformed by him.

My time in the Word drastically changed after two life-altering events back-to-back. In early 2022, I gave birth to my second son (basically right after having my first), and a few months later, I lost a good friend to some tragic childbirth complications.

Suddenly, I no longer had time to sit in my oversized chair and journal out my heartfelt prayers. Most mornings, I could barely drink my coffee while it was still hot. The grief was real, but the sun kept peeking its head above the horizon each morning. I needed the truth of Scripture, but I didn't always have much time to be still in the Word.

During that season, I started to see that same desire in the young women I was discipling. Their mornings looked different from mine, but the tension felt the same. They were rushing to early classes, heading to work, or simply trying to keep up with full lives. They wanted to read their Bibles and go deeper than just a quick verse, but they didn't always have the time or margin to know where to start.

More than anything, we all wanted to move beyond head knowledge to know and encounter the real Jesus.

I began looking for Bible studies we could use together—something that would help us really study Scripture, but could work whether someone had ten minutes or an hour to give that day.

Time and time again, I kept running into the same gap. The resources that offered rich biblical, historical, and cultural context often felt academic or required more time and training than the average reader had. The resources designed to be accessible and fit easily into everyday life could sometimes leave us wanting to go deeper.

I began to wonder, why should we have to choose?

Around that same season, I began reading through the entire Bible in a year and eventually went to seminary. The more I studied, the more I fell in love with the Bible as one great, interconnected story. I began to see how Genesis connects to the Gospels, how deeply the Old Testament is woven into the New, and how understanding the historical, cultural, and literary context of a passage can transform the way we read it.

I was learning tools that helped me become a better reader of Scripture, and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted other women to have access to them, too.

I began dreaming about resources that could offer biblical depth in an accessible way. What if a Bible study could be theologically rich and beautifully designed?

What if you could have the context and tools to become a more confident reader of Scripture, while still fitting into your daily routine?

This dream has become Kingdom Co.

We create beautiful, accessible Bible study resources designed to help you move beyond simply reading Scripture to understanding it for yourself. We bring together biblical, historical, cultural, and literary contexts to help you see how the pieces of Scripture fit together and equip you with tools you can carry with you long after you finish one of our studies.

What a privilege it is to invite you to join us as we come to know, interpret, and behold the living Word.
